English Meadows for Nora

These are photos of a green belt quite near to here so you get the countryside near the city and it is within walking distance. Huge hedges of flowering hawthorn, buttercups, cowslips and the last of the bluebells in dingly dells. I rather fancied sitting in the shade of the elm and reading a book.
I like the photo of the stile leading to a gate which seems to hold promise of going somewhere special .
Also I have a picture of a forked path. Lots of forked paths being posted today lol

the stile is great. Lovely photos - great to have these vicarious walks. Your photos seem to be scanning in much better these days, are you using different software?

No I have recently discovered two different switches on my camera; one, a mountain, for faraway scenes, and another, a flower, for close-ups.(lol)

oh no - you are as bad as me. LOL
I am really struggling to take focussed pictures with my camera. Most of them really don't turn out recognisable as anything.

Oh, how absolutely lovely, these photos. That's just how I imagine it to be. All lush and green. I should go around with the camera here and take some photos too and post them. Show you the countryside around here.

I like these a lot - just lovely. That rat in the top pic is very large though. I would be afraid to venture out.

Wonderful meadows! Exactly as I imagined them and I'm half expecting black beauty to pop up on the screen...

I drove through the Cotswolds yesterday, to avoid a traffic jam on the M40/42 - it was lovely - much better than the motorway and not much slower. Couldn't take any pictures though, I am a very safe driver.
