My Collage in The Louvre

I didn't want to write about this before as I didn't want to appear boastful, but my collage is now in The Louvre, as you can see from the accompanying pic which I took on a short break to Paris last week. They usually prefer The Old Masters in the Louvre, but they said they would make an exception for my collage.

Laurie, course it's really. Wouldn't have put it on otherwise. Does the camera ever lie?

Great idea Laurie. Check out all the little family run restaurants where my fellow artists hang out in Montmartre. Never seen anything like the onion soup there, containing, as it does, a whole onion at its centre. Also you get seranaded at your table, just like on the films. There I tried a little pavement portraiture in charcoal of the tourists to earn some extra money for Eleanor's birthday. Quite like the glass pyramid at the front of The Louvre, would be interested to hear your opinions. Offset the wondrous complexity of my design with its pure geometrical simplicity, I thought.

I knew your work was wonderful even before anyone else did. But now you have the recognition that your deserve!

Yes, Bobbie, you did see it! But I am also greatful for Frances' link www.dumpr.net which is great fun and which has at last got me onto digital art.

Hi Beverly,

This is great! Gee, what a coincidence, one of my friends sent me 4 pictures of photographs of himself at the Modern Museum of Art yesterday. I guess a lot of people are getting famous!

Thank you for visiting my blog - you may want to check out the one I write in every day (below).
