Two Things Challenge on the theme of light - My Celestial Light

This is my little angel containing a tealight. I like this very much, and, for me, this pretty much sums up 'Light', being a celestial 'Angel of Light', literally lighting up the darkness with its tealight, as religious faith can light up the darkness for people. Don't know why it's green though.
The other one is just a silly one, because this is what immediately sprung to mind with 'light', and this one is also celestial. Mind you, on a semi-serious note, this was often the last pleasure of the condemned man, the only pleasure of many psychiatric patients, and kept them going in the trenches. It is the sort of humble light people in extremis often choose.

Very cool tea light! I like the soft focus quality of it. Your snapshot of the lighter against the sky is very fun and eye-catching. I had to look twice before I realized what it was, which gave it a whimsical quality. Very well done!

Hi Bev,

You have already heard my comments on the 2nd one.

I really, really like the first - it is so delicate and precious!

Frances, I sometimes think I am lowering the tone of the Two Things in every way. I am going to try and make my entries, my blog even, more arty, intellectual and upmarket.
