Some more nice pics

I have been inquiring about putting my photos onto disc, which is quite possible, but unfortunately it appears I have lost the negatives. So I have put on a few more photograghed photos because I have a very good collection.

First running in Suffolk.

Second two pics are of Lulworth Cove in Dorset. You can't beat the British coastline when we have the weather, and, on that year, we had. They call this the Jurassic coast, and it looks like there is a stone Nessie coming out of the waters.

Third pic, a picture of my husband Mark.

Fourth pic, a picture of the kids playing air guitar with their nets.

Fifth pic, genuine 'Wind in the Willows' country, messing around in boats, but Eleanor has fallen off her seat.

Sixth pic, around Durdle Door in Dorset. It is beautiful there, and to the bottom right in front of the rocks you can see the kids braving the cold waters in their blow-up hoop. (The burry spec in front of the rocks to the left)

lovely pictures, Bev.
One way I have managed to salvage some of our old pictures is to use a scanner.
They are not too expensive. I bought one years ago and it cost the EARTH and of course isn't compatible with new systems but I got one free with my second computer and they are quite cheap now, almost affordable! I'm sure there are secondhand ones around. Which version of Windows do you have on your lovely husband's computer?

Bev, you're supposed to be on a sabbatical and here you are posting pictures of your lovely family!

I am glad you are still here, because I would miss you if you weren't.

We apparently do have a scanner Frances, which I wasn't aware of, as I'm not of a lot of things lol I am going to make use of it because, thinking about it, I have loads of good photos taken all over the South Coast, even in your own Ilframbombe. I want to show them off as it took a lot of effort taking them. Sweet Irene, I should be on a Sabbatical, but the lure of blogging is just too much to resist!

"Get thee to a scanery."

Scan at as at high a resolution as you can. Frances seems to know her stuff here so you are not alone.

There is something also wild about how you post pics this way - I hope that even if you scan we get them like this sometime. You make dreams here.

I see the potential of your photos
- these are wonderful. Regards.

yes definately try and get them scanned! I bought a scanner and printer in 1 for $70 (cheaper than the ink cartridges!) not sure what that is in your money but it was a good buy here and would be worth saving towards...especially as your lovely photo's are priceless!

John, it is quite wild taking loads of photos of photos one after the other like this, and just throwing caution to the wind.

I have never thought of myself as wild but maybe I am lol

Hi, this is Pablo. When you photograph your pictures, you should make multiple exposures so that your husband's lips are near his ear. This sounds whacky, but it made me much money. Francs. I loved Francs. Fame was even better.

I wish I were more patient. Then I would read the words bloggers write. Have I talked about fame yet? It is great that you live in Texas and Bobbie is your mom.

Chow.

I need to make some money at the moment, Pablo, and thanks for the suggestion.

It could suggest the different facets of my husband's experience of sitting on an easy chair and could be called 'Man and Easy Chair'.

Forgive me, Pablo, but some of the way you see things and people seem to be a bit fragmented, and it's no wonder some of your wives went a bit screwy.

I love these photos of your precious children, Bev, but be careful though, as I have read of people with bad intent posting comments on blogs lately and it terrifies the mums and dads. It is good these pictures are fuzzy, but still someone can know who they are or act like they know. It spoils the fun, I know.

Bobbie, initially I didn't want to pics of my kids on my blog, but since nothing bad has happened since I started blogging last April, I have got less wary about it.

Anyway, I have led something of an interesting life and, since I haven't got access to any other form of public communication, just feel like displaying these pics as some sort of historical record about what can somehow be achieved even after one has led something of an interesting life.
