Two Things Challenge Sweet/Star

I was looking around for some sweets and stars. There are plenty about at this time of year and I was going to post a picture of Eleanor's sweet mini Christmas tree with stars on it. However, as I am quite getting into posting family pictures on the net (there might be a whole lot more and nothing but, and it might be like watching the boring slideshow of someone's holiday, only interesting to them) here is a picture of my kids when they were sweet and a picture of the real star of the family (which isn't the dog).

I went aaaaaaaaaah and got quite dewy-eyed when I saw this. What a lovely picture, however blurry! Touch wood.
I am in the process of taking your challenge and uploading for the hold and value thingie - so be prepared to get your picture taken ready to go on your blog!

I'm looking forward to seeing this happen too, Frances! I'd love to know what you look like Bev. I think I have an idea, but I'll bet I'm dead wrong. I love your choice of Sweet/Star. Both say "family" and that is what it is about. Lovely cotton-headed kids. Hard to believe today, but once I was a cotton-head myself :)

You have gotten quite sentimental of late -- and I for one love it. I love seeing your sweet growing family. Not all that long ago for you they were this young, but my own at those ages would have been some time ago. Memories do get even sweeter, and even pictures I was too happy with at the time (blurry, I look fat, etc.) I find completely enchant me now.

Wonderful entries for Star and Sweet. P.S. I like how you got the stars on the little tree to almost glow.

Very sweet photos Bev, both of them! Nice wee tree too, my eldest would love it! We made a teeny one a few years ago from the tip of a tree and the kids thought it was lovely. Great to be building such a good stash of memories!
