Wish Fulfillment

I was only just moaning the other day about the damage that ugly yellow lines were doing to my photos. So I was pleased to see this photo on the front page of my today's Times. It has the graffiti artist Banksy making a flower out of some double yellow lines. Not only is this environmentally friendly (he has made a bit of nature out of the by-products of anti-environment road users) but he has obviously given a new spin to the term pavement artists. Off the wall!

Great! Love it, especially the way the yellow lines go up the building, presumably from the road. I caught a glimpse of your guinea post and thought that you do the same as I; pick weeds for your critters. Actually my guineas are guinea fowl, not guinea pigs :), though I wouldn't be surprise if pigs joined my menagerie some day. tee hee.

Bobbie, I pulled the guinea post as I thought it was a bit daft! Guinea fowl, never heard of anyone keeping those. At least not round here!

I love the yellow line art. How nice it would be to find something unexpected and whimsical like that, in spite of the fact that I'm an easily distracted driver.

(I once hit the car in front of me because I was mesmerized by a spoon sticking out of a watermelon on the side of the road.)

I also liked the guinea pig post. The best revenge against weeds: eating them.

Thanks for visiting my blog... and for the nice comment!

If you are a graffiti fan you would certainly enjoy being in our town next weekend...they are having a sidewalk art festival. Buy a section of sidewalk and some chalk and have a ball..cant wait to see the artwork!
